An in-home assessment is conducted at the claimant’s residence to identify pre-injury activities of daily living, including personal care, housekeeping and home maintenance. This assessment allows an occupational therapist (OT) to evaluate the claimant’s ability to meet functional requirements and make recommendations related to safety concerns, home layout modifications, assistive devices or external assistance. Our network of OT’s have experience in assessing acquired brain injury, hospital discharge planning, and attendant care planning.
